Video: Mercedes Classics Center Restores 540 K “Streamliner”

Introducing another Mercedes-Benz masterpiece, restored in Fellbach, Germany: the 540 K Streamliner. Built in the 1930’s at the Sindelfingen plant’s special vehicle production unit, it demonstrated the very best in aerodynamic performance. It was originally used by the German branch of tire manufacturer Dunlop to test tires for fast, powerful vehicles. Browse the gallery and watch the video for a closer look.
