Car service app Uber has taken to flying the friendly skies for the duration of the Cannes Film Festival in France this week. Created in partnership with GOODWILL Private Jets and named UberJET, the service will allow users to order a private jet from Paris directly from their smartphone. After completing a request, users will be picked up via a private driver and driven directly to a private plane at the Bourget airport.
UberJET launched today and will be available until May 18 with flights priced at around $9000 USD.
