We mean no respect to our friends over in Scandinavia, but we rarely associate countries like Denmark, Sweden or Norway with spring. For us, that part of Europe represents cooler climates and damp conditions. Thankfully, however, one of our favorite brands is changing that misconception.
If you frequent this site often, than you’re already aware that we often sing the praises of Norse Projects. In our opinion, the Copenhagen-based company has yet released a collection that’s been disappointing. With it’s designing their own pieces, collaborating with brands like New Balance or offering incredible items on their store, Norse Projects is one of the best locations for menswear. Until recently, however, they only won us over through solid fall and winter collections.
With the reveal of the items from its spring/summer 2014 collection, Norse Projects proves that they can deliver on their promise of being “created for life – good for all seasons.”
While the entire collection will make you happily pull-out your credit card, we’re extremely impressed with their Sigfred crewneck sweater. This unique knit was constructed from a space dye yarn, which in turn, gives it that one-of-a-kind blend of colors. It’s available in either Navy or Charcoal Grey. But, honestly, you can’t go wrong with either choice. A nice addition to your wardrobe before spring transitions into summer.
The collection is definitely not limited to just knits. Also included for this spring/summer is an outstanding selection of button-downs and tees in stripes, camouflage and a mixture of fabrics and vibrant colors. But, if you like to keep things simple and elegant, there’s a solid black collection containing a hoody, military jacket, and a matte black cowhide bomber.
While the all-black pieces will release in February, the rest is currently available at Norse Projects’ official online shop.
