In anticipation of the fast-approaching Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus has revealed the newest addition to their performance stable: the RC Coupe. We admit we were surprised to learn this is the first two-door from Toyota‘s luxury offshoot – aside from their otherworldly LFA supercar – since they discontinued their SC model back in 2010. The RC’s exterior is decidedly sporty and aggressive, featuring a practically asphalt-teasing application of their signature spindle grill. Triangular headlamps with a unique three-lamp LED design, beefy 18″ or 19″ mags and a Lexus-specific interior lighting set up really tie the RC Coupe together. Inside, a seven-inch navigation screen and with touch interface allows you to explore the cars ample features with ease. Although we don’t yet have the full spec sheet – you’ll have to wait until the Tokyo Motor Show and a Lexus Live Stream on Nov. 20th at 8:45am – powering the standard edition of the RC350 is a 3.5-liter V6, while the RC300h will boast a 2.5-liter hybrid setup.
