Keeping up the brilliant styles emerging from Denmark is the latest release from Norse Projects. This three-way collaboration involving Vault by Vans, textile producer and fellow Danish brand Kvadrat, and furniture from Poul Kjærholm includes the iconic sneakers, a day bed and a folding stool. That may sound a bit ambitious, but this “Fabric, footwear and furniture” range should most definitely be in considered in your budget. After-all, it’s not exactly everyday that you’re able to match-up your shoes with furniture.
The project is titled “stoflighed” and pays homage to the Danish architectural and design tradition of incorporating materiality and texture. The end result is an elegant and contemporary collection that includes the Vans Era and Chukka, PK80 day bed and PK91 folding stool in Tundra and Tonica materials from Kvadrat in three colorways: red, blue and grey.
The Norse x Vault by Vans x Kvadrat x Poul Kjærholm “stoflighed” collection was unveiled during Paris Design Week between September 9 to 15 at colett and was made available online and in-store on September 28.
