Nike’s Roshe Run silhouette has been nothing sort of an immense success; having seem multiple iterations and collaborations in only a few seasons of the style’s existence. Sole Collector recently released a video unveiling the true inspiration behind the popular design. Designed by Dylan Raasch, the Roshe Run went through 16 different design editions before one was finally deemed as being perfect. The inspiration for the silhouettes came from a Roshi Zen Master (“Roshi was changed to “Roshe” for legal reasons). A fantastic video full of interesting facts, this is well worth a watch.
