Celebrate Memorial Day With the Converse ‘Bars and Stars’ All-Star

CTAS Vintage Flag 8 large Celebrate Memorial Day With the Converse Bars and Stars All StarAlthough it seems like it may have come upon on us very quickly, Memorial Day weekend has arrived, aka the unofficial launch of summer. But, it’s meant to remember the men and women who served to protect our country, which is why Converse is getting patriotic on this long weekend.

Despite being no strangers to patriotic gear in the past, the 2014 edition goes above and beyond in showcasing the iconic stars and bars with a recrafted Chuck Taylor All Star of the ‘70s. This new spin on the timeless hi-top features an all over Star print on the left sneaker with Bars completely covering the right sneaker. These vintage sneakers also feature interchangeable red, white and blue laces with a vintage license plate and nickel eyelets. Also, the sole is thicker and the toe comes equipped with a heavy-duty cotton canvas outer.

Only 1,300 pairs of the Vintage Flag Chuck Taylor All Star ’70 pack were produced, so we suggest that you’re ready to make your purchase at Converse when they drop on May 23rd for $90 USD.
