Established by iconic British designer Margaret Howell, MHL explores the tailoring, structure and functionality inherent in menswear design. Taking cues from archive outerwear, the Cotton Drill Staff Jackett is made in the UK, constructed with a satisfyingly durable twill shell shell. Mercedes-Benz unveils their all-new 2015 S65 AMG Coupe. Under the hood the S65 AMG Coupe boasts a V12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine that produces 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, launching the car from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds. Keeping pushing, and the car will hit an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph in Europe and 186 mph in the United States. Additional elements include Designo Nappa leather sport seats and a “Magic Body Control” suspension system that allows the car to lean into bends. Mercedes-Benz will begin delivering its S65 AMG Coupe later this year, but expect the price tag to hit around $250,000 USD.

*NOTE: Although the documentary doesn’t cover this, Hoefler and Frere-Jones are currently embroiled in a $20 Million lawsuit over the dissolution of their partnership, which in our opinion makes this trailer all the more interesting.

Expertly tuned by the Bentley Motorsport team, this special edition Continental harnesses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 capable of producing 572 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. All those ponies are put to the street via an eight-speed automatic gearbox and rear-biased AWD system for true rear-wheel racing feel. All that – including a 200lb diet – means that the GT3-R accelerates up to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds before topping out at 170 mph. Other details include an air suspension, silicon carbide brake discs, 21″ gloss black wheels, titanium exhaust, and glacier white paint job with British Racing Green accents.

Order are now being taken for the 300 production models of the Continental GT3-R with delivery slated to start before the end of the 2014.

In the early 1970s, Porsche found itself in need of a street car that would allow the fellows in Stuttgart to meet homologation rules for the Group 4 Special GT series. What resulted was the 1973 2.7 Carrera RS, a brawny brother to the 911. With its ducktail rear spoiler, big brakes, and flared rear fenders, the car was an instant classic. Indeed, the car was so popular that Porsche opted to go well beyond the 500-car minimum required for homologation, ultimately producing more than 1500 of the Carrera RS model in 1973.

McLaren Special Operations (MSO), who do the special editons of McLaren (like they even need souping up), has unveiled a new edition of their flagship 650S. Available in both a Spyder and Coupe design, the upgrade to this 650S is more aesthetic than anything. Including three limited edition paint schemes, a three-piece rear bumper, rear diffuser design and 10-spoke alloy wheels to put that McLaren power to the pavement. Of course, the interior is more carbon fiber and Alcantara than you can shake a stick at. Only 50 models will be produced, with a price tag of around $430k USD.

Now, full disclosure the EG team is pretty fond of a little Cupertino-based company, so our trip to the app marketplace was one of new experiences and unfamiliar offerings. Here’s just a few of the apps we’ve come to love using on our Intel powered Android OS tab.

Audible for Android

For those of you that are unfamiliar, Audible is the world’s largest marketplace for audiobooks. With our Tab 8’s perfectly portable size, we find ourselves constantly loading our unit up with the latest books for flights and commuting on the subway.

Dropbox

Dropbox is the best way to keep your files organized and accessible from almost any device you may have. By keeping all your files in their secure cloud you can easily get to what you need, when and where you need it. Best of all you can share files with fellow users in an instant and create collaborative files with business partners and friends.

TuneIn

This one comes pre-loaded on the device, but we immediately fell in love with it. TuneIn is an app that allows you to access radio stations from around the world. Designed with a simple, user friendly interface, we’ve taken to using this for our in-office playlists. On a whim we can listen to Australian top 40 or underground Paris club bangers. For sports fans, it’s a great way to listen to local radio stations take on a specific team. You haven’t heard an Alabama football game called until you’ve heard the play by play from a local disc jockey.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, Tom Hardy plays Mad Max in what the director has called “..a feature length car chase”.
