Expanding their offering into 2015, Mercedes-Benz has released a first look at the new AMG-tuned GLA45 crossover SUV. The all-wheel-drive GLA45 AMG – set for a debut at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show – features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine capable of a beefy 355 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Boasting a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the vehicle offers Manual, Sport and Comfort modes – not to mention a “Race Start” function. Though we don’t have any word on pricing yet, we can imagine that with all those extra AMG tweaks this SUV will command a substantial sticker price. Stay tuned for more information soon.
