Their second collaboration, Specialized bikes has teamed up with boutique automaker McLaren on a limited edition S-Works Tarmac road bike. Tapping the supercar outfits knowledge of carbon fiber, the bike features a frame and fork made from a unique carbon compound that makes the bike 10 percent lighter than the standard S-Works Tarmac bike (and that’s saying something). The bike’s custom colorway is hand painted at McLaren’s Special Operations Center across the pond in England. Only 250 bikes will be made, each one to the exacting specifications of the individual customer, and coming paired with matching helmet and shoes. Interesting in lightening your wallet on a super light bike? Head over the Specialized now.
