In 1873, Levi Strauss changed the world by introducing the first pair of blue jeans. For the last 140 plus years, the company has defined itself as one of the most popular and respected makers of denim. However, Levi’s is now out to prove that it’s more than just a denim label with the collection from its Made & Crafted sub-brand.

The iconic brand recently unveiled the Spring/Summer 2014 collection which includes all of your warm weather essentials. Everything from printed T-shirts, crewnecks and button-downs are up for grabs. However, there’s also bomber, trucker and leather jackets for those chilly spring nights. Levi’s also didn’t forget about the accessories. Belts, scarves, neckwear and bags are included as well. And, because this is Levi’s, there’s a wide range of denim bottoms to accompany the selection of chinos and shorts.

What makes the Levi’s Made & Crafted Collection so unique is the quality and construction of the items. The denim, for example, was woven in the USA, Japan and Italy. The pieces were then hand sewn with special attention to details. These extra touches include buttons constructed from cotton, wood and bone, the Levi’s “Accurate” stitch and the use of natural dyes.
