With the 2014 FIFA World Cup launching in Brazil, Nike Football celebrated the launch of their amazing #RiskEverything campaign. In New York the EG team got a chance to preview their final #RiskEverything Campaign Video before heading to Nike HQ to check out their new Football wares for 2014.

The primary element of their 2014 release (and sure to be a common sight at the WC) is Nike’s new cleats: the Magista and Mercurial Superfly. Always mindful of the individualistic style of the game, the Magista is specifically created for playmakers, while the Mercurial Superfly is designed for fancy footwork. The jerseys are designed to keep players dry and comfortable in Brazil, where stadium locations spanning such a large country mean you can be playing in cool conditions or jungle heat, depending on the match up. The jersey fabric features a 56% increase in airflow over past generations and took 4 years to develop in Nike’s labs. Despite all this innovation, the fabric is 94% recycled materials: an astonishing feat.

For the FIFA World Cup 2014, Nike will supply 10 teams in the tournament, far and away more than any other sportswear brand. Just do it.
