Dark Denim is one of the most popular essentials in a man’s modern day wardrobe.
Almost always acceptable and never the less appealing, the right pair can take you from day to night, formal to fun, or anywhere in between.
Possibly the most versatile leg-wear option on the market, a pair of dark jeans can take you from season to season but is especially appropriate during fall and winter.
Denim is a rugged cotton twill textile, in which the weft (the horizontal stitch) passes under two or more warp (the vertical stitch) threads. This produces the familiar diagonal ribbing identifiable on the reverse of the fabric, which distinguishes denim from other similar textiles.
Denim is traditionally colored blue with indigo to make blue “jeans”. The contemporary use of the word jean comes from the French word for Genoa, Italy (Gênes), where the first denim trousers were made.
