Seattle’s Filson has teamed up with fellow American-made proponent Shinola out of Detroit to create this collaborative edition of their “Bixby” bicycle. Among the bikes many handmade features are bamboo fenders, copper rails and rivets, and genuine leather grips on the handlebars. Panniers and a handlebar bag are made from Filson’s famous ‘Tin Cloth’ fabric. It’s a collaboration that works well and proves that American industry is alive and well if you look hard enough. You can pick one up at Filson now at $2900 USD.
