Designed in 1932 by George Carwardine, the Anglepoise lamp is considered a triumph of thoughtful and technically superior industrial design. Taking inspiration from automotive suspensions, the Anglepoise Type75 lamp is able to be moved into a myriad of positions, remaining in said position without clamping until you adjust it again.
Having been designed by a Briton, it’s fitting that Paul Smith has applied his colorful sensibility to the Type75 model of the lamp. Available for pre-order from mid-August, the lamp will be available at Paul Smith boutiques starting this September.
