Filson and Shinola, two stalwarts of the American-made movement have teamed up to produce a limited edition version of Shinola’s ‘Bixby’ bicycle. An interesting collaboration, with Filson having been around since 1897 and Shinola bringing manufacturing back to Detroit, this version of the Bixby is a great blend of old-meets-new. The bicycle features a lightweight Filson Green steel TrueTemper frame with a custom fork, a Shimano Nexus 3-speed internal hub, disc brakes and a bamboo deck and matching fenders with laser-etched branding. The bike is available in two sizes and can be ordered now from Filson for $2,900 USD.
